The hotel was charming old and in a central location. Easy access to Leipzig/Halle airport, which was about 24 minutes' drive away. The breakfast looked great, with warm fresh bread, unfortunately we didn't have time and didn't try it

Especially helpful and caring staff
Huge room, neat with big bathroom. Lots of goodies for breakfast. - Unbeatable and magnificent location, close to a 12th-century church.

My stay was absolutely mind-blowing! The location was super, just minutes away from both the city center and the stadium. Check-in was a breeze, and the small kitchen with a fridge, kettle, and coffee machine was a jaw-dropping surprise. The rooms, although a tad outdated, were in great condition and I slept like a baby. Plus, the former Polish embassy next door added a fascinating historical touch. Security was top-notch, and the large, airy room near a beautiful park was amazing. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a wide selection. The staff were excellent and there was plenty of tea and coffee available. Lastly, the high-speed wi-fi made it easy for me to get some work done. my experience was simply fantastic!

The building where we stayed was really interesting, with a lot of history. We were surprised to find out that it used to be a Polish embassy. The location was great, we were right next to the U.S. embassy and within walking distance to many must-see places in the city. The room was nice and we really appreciated the breakfast buffet.
There were some downsides as well. Firstly, the rolls at breakfast were clearly re-heated from the freezer, which was disappointing. Secondly, there was no elevator, which wasn't a problem for us, but could be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. Lastly, the manager/proprietor was quite rude. We had a delayed flight and arrived very late, but were met with no sympathy and no assistance with finding our keys or a taxi. Plus, he refused to let us leave our bags for an hour, which seemed unreasonable. we enjoyed our city break but had some mixed feelings about this hotel.

This hostel is located in a great spot, with plenty of good food and entertainment nearby, including the renowned Bach festival. the area is quite central, very close to many landmarks, and, for added security, the US embassy is conveniently situated right next door.
There is no person available 24/7 at the building to provide assistance in case of any issues.

Great location - Next to the US Embassy and Police station. We felt safe. it was within walking distance to the major attractions of the city. the breakfast was tasty and had a good variety. the staff was helpful and accommodating. the room was clean and modern.
The lack of a lift was a big downside, especially since we were on the highest floor. It made going up and down with our luggage a struggle.
